30 de Septiembre 2016 | Septiembre es el mes de la moda y en el que grandes capitales le abren las puertas a sus diseñadores. El 29 y 30 de septiembre se llevó a cabo uno de los eventos más importantes de la moda en el mundo, y por segundo año consecutivo, Santiago de Chile fue protagonista. La ante última pasarela de la versión 2016 del MBFW fue la de la diseñadora nacional Kika Neumann, quien conquistó al público con su elegancia, telas livianas y amplias siluetas.

September 30, 2016 | September is fashion month and during which, the capital cities open their doors to designers. On September 29th and 30^th, one of the most important fashion events in the world was held for the second consecutive year in Santiago, Chile. The next to last runway show of the 2016 MBFW was that of Chilean designer Kika Neumann, who won over the audience with her elegance, light fabrics, and voluminous silhouettes.

Javier Alvarez

Fotógrafo documental. Centra su trabajo en temas sociales de identidad y resistencia.  Fundador y editor en jefe de www.mud-magazine.com, revista en línea que promueve el trabajo de fotógrafos emergentes a nivel internacional.  En 2016, Álvarez fue galardonado con el Premio Portafolio y expuso su programa «Predio (Marconi)» en el Festival Internacional de Fotografía de Valparaíso (FIFV).  El trabajo de Álvarez ha sido expuesto y publicado en Chile, México, España y Brasil.

Documentary photographer.  His work focuses on social issues of identity and resistance.  Founder and editor-in-chief for www.mud-magazine.com, online magazine that promotes the work of emerging photographers at international level.  In 2016, Álvarez was awarded with the Portfolio Prize and he exposed his program «Predio (Marconi)» in the Festival Internacional de Fotografía de Valparaíso (FIFV).  Álvarez’s work has been exposed and published in Chile, Mexico, Spain and Brazil.
