Angélica es transexual. Se extirpó los testículos y trabaja como prostituta en la ciudad de Iquitos, Perú, para poder pagar unos implementos mamarios, y así completar su transformación de hombre a mujer.

Angelica is transsexual. She had her testicles surgically removed and works as a prostitute in the city of Iquitos, Peru, in order to pay for breast implants, and thus complete her transformation from man to woman.

Fotógrafo con quince años de experiencia. Actualmente se desempeña como editor de fotografía en la revista The Clinic. En paralelo, es corresponsal para Latinoamérica en agencia Luz About Stories (Italia) y  Co-Fundador de “Buen Lugar Ediciones”. Ha sido ganador del premio Nacional Rodrigo Rojas De Negri, entregado por el Consejo de la Cultura como la “Fotografía del año” del Salón Nacional de Fotografía de Prensa 2010. Publica sus trabajos en medios como: The Guardian, Focus, Burn Magazine, Reuters, Qué Pasa, The Sun, Internazzionale, Joia Magazine, Ojo de Pez, Soho, Piel de Foto, Revista Anfibia, revista the Clinic, Lun, La Nación, Revista Viernes y Ciper Chile.

Photographer with fifteen years of experience. Currently works as a photography editor for the magazine The Clinic. At the same time, he is a correspondent for Latin America at the agency Luz About Stories (Italy), and is cofounder of “Buen Lugar Ediciones”. He has won the Rodrigo Rojas De Negri national award, granted by the Culture Council as the “Photography of the Year”, at the National Hall of Photojournalism of 2010.
