08.04.2015.- La Región de Atacama se recupera lentamente de los aluviones que dejaron un saldo de 26 muertos y 120 desaparecidos y más de 29 mil damnificados. La reconstrucción luego de la catástrofe que tuvo lugar en el norte de Chile, a causa de un fuerte temporal, costará más de 1.500 millones de dólares, según lo anunciado por la Presidenta de la República Michelle Bachelet. 

08.04.2015.- The Region of Atacama slowly recovers from the flooding that left a total of 26 fatalities and 120 missing and more than 29,000 with damage to their homes. Rebuilding after the catastrophe that took place in the northern Chile, caused by the heavy rainfall, will cost more than one and a half billion dollars, according to the announcement made by President of the Republic Michelle Bachelet.

Ha desarrollado su labor profesional durante los últimos veintidós años, en los que ha trabajado como fotógrafo para los diarios La Época (1994),  La Nación y como colaborador en las agencias internacionales como Reuters, AP y  AFP (2000-2011), por mencionar sólo algunos. En la actualidad está dedicado a la agencia internacional EFE. Sus trabajos han sido reconocidos y premiados desde 1994 hasta el 2013 por varios concursos fotográficos entre ellos “Concurso Kodak” y  “FOTOPRENSA”.

He has developed his professional career over the last 22 years, during which he has worked as a photographer for the newspapers La Época (1994), La Nación and as a collaborator in international agencies such as Reuters, AP and AFP (2000-2011), just to mention a few. Currently he is dedicated to the international agency EFE. His works have been recognized and awarded from the year 1994 until 2013 in various photography contests, among them, the “Kodak Contest” and “FOTOPRENSA”.
