Fernando Carvajal, maratonista chileno. 

En agosto de 2015, el corredor chileno Fernando Carvajal, de 81 años, logró el segundo lugar en el Mundial de Atletismo Master, en Lyon, Francia. Era la cima de una carrera que se ha financiado barriendo las calles. Ahora entrena para ser el primer hombre en ganar una medalla a los 100 años de edad.

In August 2015, Chilean runner Fernando Carvajal, at age 81, finished second in the World Masters Athletics Outdoor Championship. It was the pinnacle of an athletic career that he self-financed sweeping streets. He now trains to be the first man to win a medal at age 100.
