22.10.2015.- En la ciudad de Concepción, Esteban Guzmán y Vicente Medel se convirtieron en la primera pareja del mismo sexo en firmar el primer acto oficial, luego de la entrada en vigencia de la Ley de Acuerdo de Unión Civil (AUC) en Chile.

22.10.2015.- In the city of Concepción, Esteban Guzmán and Vicente Medel became the first same-sex couple to sign the first official act, after the Civil Union Agreement Law (known as the AUC) entered into force in Chile.

With an eleven year trajectory, he currently works as a correspondent for El Mercurio, at the Bio Bio Region. He started his career as a photojournalist in 2005, at the daily newspaper La Tercera, and subsequently, he has performed as a photographer for various media, providing coverage for transcendental international events, such as the funeral of dictator Augusto Pinochet, the first proclamation of Michelle Bachelet, the earthquake of 2010, and the Copa América 2015.
