“Memorias de una reina bohemia”

20 de junio 2017 | Edoardo Godoy es un diseñador y performer de Valparaíso, actualmente radicado en San Pedro de Atacama. En junio de 2017, Edoardo se enteró de que el inmueble donde funcionaba uno de los clubes nocturnos más tradicionales del puerto cerró sus puertas, ya que los dueños venderían el edificio completo. Esta performance es su homenaje a la alicaída y moribunda bohemia porteña que poco a poco desaparece.

June 20, 2017 | Edoardo Godoy is a designer and performer from Valparaíso, who currently lives in San Pedro de Atacama. In June 2017, Edoardo found out that the building where one of the oldest, most popular night clubs of the port city closed, since the owners were looking to sell the entire building. This performance is his homage to the weak and dying port city bohemianism which disappears little by little.

Periodista y fotógrafo de Viña del Mar. Licenciado en Periodismo de la Universidad de Playa Ancha en Valparaíso y Máster en Fotografía Contemporánea del Centro Internacional de Fotografía y Cine EFTI en Madrid. Desde el año 2009 hasta el 2015 trabaja en el diario El Mercurio. El año 2015 participa del Masterclass de la agencia Magnum Photos efectuado en Río de Janeiro y dictado por el prestigioso fotógrafo alemán Thomas Dworzak. Fue galardonado con el Primer lugar en FotoPrensa 2012, el Tercer lugar en Sony World Photo Awards el año 2016 y fue finalista en Dubai Internacional Photo Awards el 2018. Vive en Auckland, Nueva Zelanda y trabaja de forma independiente. 

Journalist and photographer from Viña del Mar.  He has a Bachelor´s Degree in Journalism from Universidad de Playa Ancha in Valparaíso and a Masters in Contemporary Photography from Centro Internacional de Fotografía y Cine EFTI in Madrid. From 2009 to 2015 he worked in the newspaper El Mercurio. In 2015, he participated in the Masterclass of the agency Magnum Photos which took place in Rio de Janeiro and was given by the prestigious German photographer Thomas Dworzak. He won First Place at FotoPrensa 2012, Third Place at Sony World Photo Awards in 2016 and was a finalist at the Dubai International Photo Awards in 2018. He lives in Auckland, New Zealand and works independently.
