Ubicada en la playa de la ex isla del Alacrán, en la ciudad de Arica, es popular por su tubo casi perfecto, pero además, por ser una de las más peligrosas del mundo. Apetecida por los surfistas, reúne cada año a competidores de diferentes lugares del mundo.

June 03, 2018 | “El Gringo” is the most famous wave in Chile.  Located at the beach in the former Island of Alacrán, in the city of Arica, it is popular for its almost perfect barrel wave, but also for being one of the most dangerous waves in the world.  Prized by surfers, it attracts competitors from all over the world each year.
