3 de Septiembre 2016 | El esquiador italiano Christof Schenk realiza un “switch double” en una de las fechas de la Copa del Mundo “Big Air world cup 2016”, disputada en el centro de esquí Cerro Colorado, en medio de la Cordillera de los Andes de Chile. En plena acrobacia, el deportista quedó a apenas unos metros de un cóndor que sobrevolaba la pista. Pese al impasse sufrido, el italiano obtuvo el séptimo lugar en la prueba. La presencia del ave patrimonial de Chile, Bolivia, Perú, Ecuador y Colombia, recuerda que es uno de los tantos animales en peligro de extinción en el continente sudamericano.

September 3, 2016 | Italian skier Christof Schenk performs a “switch double” in one of the competitions of the “Big Air World Cup 2016”, held at Cerro Colorado Ski Center in the middle of Chile’s Andes Mountains. In the middle of his jump, the athlete came within just a few meters of a condor flying overhead. Despite the mishap, the Italian placed 7^th in the competition. The appearance of the national bird of Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador and Colombia, alludes to the fact that it is one of the many animals in danger of extinction on the South American continent.
